Tipped to arrive sometime over the summer months is the next generation iPhone from Apple in the form of the iPhone 5S. Despite this there is already talk regarding the iPhone 6 that will bring with it some major changes where as the 5S will only offer some feature updates. A new vacancy that has been advertised at Apple has given us some idea as to the type of display we can expect to see on the iPhone 6.
A new position has become available at Apple which shows us that the American company have an interest in using flexible display technology. It has been suggested that either the iPhone 6 will be the first of the company’s phones to sport the new technology or the iWatch which is said to be in development. The job advertisement states that the American company are looking for an expect to “lead the investigation on emerging display technologies such as high optical efficiency LCD , AMOLED and flexible display.” Development of this technology is moving forward at a very fast rate despite still being in the early stages. If current rumours are to be true the next iPhone model we will see will be the iPhone 5S, however it will only be a minor update focusing on new software which will included a redesigned interface. Recent reports suggest that we will see the iPhone 6 launched in early 2014 and the device will include a total redesign and the next generation A7 processing chip.
